Privacy policy: Feedbell

What the app does

It reads a store's product catalog and creates product feed files (XML) for price comparison sites such as Skroutz, BestPrice and Google Merchant Center.

Data we collect

• Merchants: the store domain, store name, contact email and currency, and the settings chosen in the app.
• Product data: titles, descriptions, images, prices, SKUs, barcodes, vendors, tags, collections and stock levels (scopes read_products, read_inventory and read_locations). It is used only to build the merchant's feeds. The generated feed files are stored so comparison sites can download them.
• Shoppers: we do not collect or store any shopper or customer personal data, and we set no cookies on storefronts.

How we use it

Only to create and serve the feeds the merchant asked for, to show the merchant which products were left out and why, and to provide support. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or send marketing email.

Who receives the data

The feed address is private to the merchant. The merchant gives it to the comparison sites they choose; those sites then download the product data. Our servers are in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). The merchant is the controller of their catalog data; we act as processor.

Retention and deletion

When the app is uninstalled, Shopify sends us a request and we erase the store's settings and generated feeds within 48 hours (mandatory shop/redact webhook). We hold no customer records, so the customer data requests and erasures Shopify sends need no action. To ask about your data, email info@buy-it.gr.
